HVAL Scholarship Program
The 33rd Annual Scholarship Show of HVAL will be held this year at the Welles Gallery, Lenox Library, Lenox, MA from March 30 until April 25.
2007 marked the 32nd anniversary of the HVAL High School Art Scholarship competition! We awarded $2800 in scholarships to the four artists who share the First Prize award. Five artists received Honorable Mention awards, which include a gift certificate from JWS Art Supplies in Great Barrington, MA. Congratulations to all students - best of luck in your artistic futures.
From the judges:
"This year the judges selected the winners based on originality of work,
consistency of vision, and technical skill. We also saw work that was
highly sophisticated in concept and execution."
