Berkshire Art
The Berkshires during the winter season is still full of opportunities to make and to see and purchase fine art.

Our nearby art school, IS183, is now enrolling students for its upcoming program of classes and workshops; contact them right away to sign up. It may not be too late to get into the class you want.

Adams Feed Store, by Robert Pote
Visitor Robert Pote from Indiana painted this feed store in Adams, MA, last summer.

Our area is well supplied with galleries all bursting with fine art. From south Berkshire County, in Great Barrington, MA, for example, the Godwin & Lundquist Fine Art Gallery (264 State Rd), has a variety of artists on display from the tonalist canvases of Dennis Sheehan to the colorist works of Frank Federico and the plein air delights of Walter Pasko (and many others). And in north Berkshire County, the Harrison Gallery in Willamstown currently has an exciting show of American Impressionists: David Lussier, John Terelak and George Van Hook. There are dozens more galleries in the area - check them out!
