- "Images from the Fields", a collaboration between HVAL and the Sheffield and Egremont Land Trusts, will culminate in a weekend-long show at the American Legion Hall in Sheffield, October 16-17. - Susan Crofut's show at the Welles Gallery of the Lenox Library with ceramicist Adrienne Miesmer will run from September 3 - 23, 2010. There will be an Artists' Reception on Sunday, Sept. 5, 4:30 - 7 p.m.
- Leo Mazzeo has a show of recent oil paintings at Gallery 25, 25 Union St. Pittsfield, from Sep 16 - Oct 17, with an opening reception on Septemeber 18, 5-7 p.m.
- Marge Bride's show at Gallery 25, 25 Union St, Pittsfield, runs from August 19 thru Sept 12, 2010. There will be an Artists' Reception on Thursday, Aug 19, 5:30 - 8 p.m.
- Congratulations to Tina Chandler and Joe Baker, both of whom had pastel paintings juried into the Renaissance in Pastel Show of the Connecticut Pastel Society, which will be held at the Mattatuck Museum, Waterbury, CT, from Oct 1 - 24, 2010. The Awards Reception will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2 - 4 p.m.

- FACEBOOK Leo Mazzeo offered to create and maintain a presence for HVAL on facebook and also on Twitter. He launched the league's pages on January 29, 2010, and met with a large wave of enthusiastic welcome in the form of nearly 200 "fans" and lots of comments on our site, our activities and our members.
